Shoulder Work

Hey girl hey! I know it's been awhile since I posted, but I'm back baby! Thanks for hanging in there while I was working on a few other projects :). So, anyway....let's talk about the Fall. I love the Fall. From the color changing leaves to the smell of pumpkin everywhere (and I mean everywhere), I can't get enough of the season....and its blank canvas for cool layering style. But what about all of those amazing Summer looks that you just want to squeeze a little more life out of? Let's talk about that! Today I'm bringing you a little off-the-shoulder look with a cute denim skirt that will transition well into Fall, but still works during the hot months.

This top!!! I love the off=the-shoulder look...and you can't go wrong with black. The ribbed texture adds a little personality to an already cute cut. Here, I pair it with an exposed zipper skirt that works great now...and later! I will be adding a great turtleneck and statement necklace combo to this in the Fall. Won't that be super cute? Oh! and with great boots, of course....Ah well, until that time, I think these red strappy fringe numbers will do the trick.

*Styling Tip: Always consider what staple pieces will transition well when shopping so close to the end of a season. Buy for Fall in the middle of Summer!

The shoes cost me a whopping $20 bucks at JustFab online. I also bought a pair in black because I loved them so much. I added a red lippie to tie it all together and voila! An outfit worthy of Summer, but suitable for Fall with a couple modifications. #winning
