Sensitive Skin? 5 Products You Need from Pamela Metamorphosis
I've never really been a huge user of multi-step skincare. I can remember watching my mother put on her anti-aging creams, and I honestly thought my time would come much later in life to use them. At 31, I'd settled into a routine of rinsing my face with warm water and applying a daily moisturizer. I know all of my beauty blogger boos are probably freaking out, but hey, I don't smoke, I laugh a lot, and had blemish free skin for the most part. Oh, and I'm always getting carded wherever we go, so I don't think the aging has set in just yet.
Nevertheless, I understand a consistent regimen over 30 is probably needed. That's why I said yes to reviewing a new skincare line based out of Denver, Colorado- Pamela Metamorphosis. I have very sensitive skin, so to say I was nervous would be an understatement, but I instantly felt a connection with the PM team, so I put those fears aside and found the courage to move forward.
I think it's important to note that I have been using the Pamela Metamorphosis skincare line for about two weeks now. Pleasantly surprised with the results, and I can't wait to share my favorite products with you! They are all from the Sensitive Skin line.
I've been starting my mornings off using the Sensitive Skin Cleanser. It's incredibly gentle, and a little bit goes a long way. Using a makeup remover pad, or just my bare hands, I used a circular motion to cleanse my face and neck. The cleanser foams up and tingles a little. I was so worried it would leave my skin feeling dry, but it didn't. The gel was soothing and mild enough to uses under my eyes as well. Pro Tip: Do this in the shower to save time.
We all know Vitamin C is packed full of antioxidants. Most of us try to get in a daily dose through orange juice in the mornings. The fact that I can double up by using the Vitamin C Serum to ensure I'm truly fighting free radicals is major. Again, a little bit has gone a long way with this product. I put it on right after cleansing, before I use a moisturizer. It's like having an OJ facial without becoming sticky and accidentally squirting juice in your eye. It's a win-win.
The Green Tea Moisturizer is by far my favorite product I reviewed. Like I mentioned when I started this post, I was already used to putting on a moisturizing cream in the mornings. Reluctant to switch up my routine, I'm really glad I tried Pamela Metamorphosis for this product alone. For all my sensitive and dry skin folks out there; it truly feels like the first rain after a drought. I instantly could tell a difference. My skin soaked up the cream. Who knew anti-aging products could feel this good? With the outdoor holiday festivities in full effect, I've even kept it in my purse for touch-ups this past week. There is nothing worse than cold, dry air on sensitive and dry skin. Trust me, you need this one.
The Transformation Cream is just that. It plumps up your skin ladies! I add a generous dab of it to my face at night. This was new for my routine, but it wasn't as intimidating as I thought it would be. I've managed to add it in and I can already see results. Fact: My lovely blogger boo taking this photo even commented on how great my skin looks, and I've been exclusive to Pamela Metamorphosis this entire review. Something is working!
Last, by not least (pictured above) is the Sunscreen SPF 30. I'll be honest, I did not have this as a part of my regular skincare routine. I've had breakouts in the past with applying sunscreen to my face, so why bother? It wasn't even a thought, but it should be. Not only do I have friends that are melanoma survivors, I actually have pretty fair skin. The founder of PM, Pamela Hill herself is a melanoma survivor, and developed a sunscreen that contains Octinoxate and Zinc Oxide, which are a safe alternative to harsh chemicals in other products. The result- I applied it to my face and neck breakout free. Perfect for my sensitive skin.
If you take away anything from my review, let it be the importance of a skincare regimen that works together. It was easy to get into a routine with these products because they all made sense. Even after applying the serums and the moisturizing cream, my face still felt light. Check out more products for different skin types on their website today!
