5 Must Have Skincare Products You Should Know

I can remember going into my Mom's bathroom and finding all these creams and lotions. I would stand by as she went through the ritual of applying said creams, serums, lotions, masks...you get the idea. To be honest, I was in awe of her, and couldn't wait to get my hands all in her goodies when she wasn't looking. I wanted to be just like her! I wanted to be a grown up...because grown ups get to keep all these cool things in their bathroom lol.

When I was old enough to read, the labels were important: "wrinkle reducing", "anti-aging", etc....then I knew I needed to grow up a LOT before I would be able to use Mom's creams...

I've made it to my 30's, and I finally have my own creams...with a daughter to watch my regimen...funny how life is.

Anyhoo, now that I have taken you down memory lane, let me talk about those skincare products every 30+ something should have in her bathroom....and a few are definitely in mine!

1) THE Cream.

Ponds Facial Moisturizing Cream $5-$7

I. Cannot. Say. Enough about this product. I use it everyday. In my first #ShowerSeries post, I did a bonus feature of the Pond's Moisturizing Cream because I love it so much! This face moisturizer is great for women with dry skin (me) or sensitive skin (also me). It doesn't leave behind an oily residue, so no smears on your fav top. People always ask me what my secret to youthful skin is....now you know...it's this stuff! #YourWelcome

2) A Face Wash...

And not just any face wash...do your research. Dry, oily, combo skin...you have to take that into consideration when shopping...but you don't need to break the bank. A great gentle option is Yes to Cucumbers Gentle Wash. At $8-$9 and virtually chemical free, this face wash cleanses without stripping your skin. Uber important. Stripped skin could lead to dry or wrinkled skin....and you don't have time for that! Take a look for yourself here. #musthave

3) Bliss Mask-A-Peel $10

We've all seen it. The green gooey paste with cucumbers covering your eyes. It all seems so messy! Luckily, there are other options out there that work within a reasonable timeframe. I don't know about you, but I can lay around on a chaise all day looking all paste-face. Try this on-the-go Bliss Rubber Mask. Great for travel and only $10!

4.) Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream, Kiehls $54

Now, this stuff is not for the faint of heart. It is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by 30%. So we are talking serious anti-aging business babes. I feel blessed to not have any wrinkles just yet, but I have heard nothing but amazing feedback about this cream. Give it a try and let me know!

5. Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Cream $41

Start your day off right using this dark circle corrector. It breaks up puffy eyes and soothes them at the same time! Definitely a must have for us late night bloggers ...hehe.
