Case of the Work Week

Wake up. Sip coffee. Check emails. Sip coffee. Attend meetings.Sip coffee...you get the idea. Starting the workweek can be brutal. The weekend just isn't long enough. (I think starting a campaign for a 3-day weekend is in order) We always have a full inbox awaiting us Monday morning. It can totally be a drag heading into the office after a relaxing weekend, and sometimes the last thing on your mind is what to wear. I wanted to share this look that I think will combat your Monday woes.

Once again, Eloquii is top of my list for easy-to-wear workweek clothing. This "candy-stripe" peplum dress was such a great find. It's strategic fabric draping is on point for creating a sleek silhouette and hiding any extra curves you want to keep in the box this workweek lol. Myth: curvy girls cannot wear stripes! This is sooo not true! It's all about the width of the stripe and cut of the garment! I try to find prints that have a great cut that flatter my body. TRY ON EVERYTHING until you have a strong idea about what works well with your body type. Side note: I couldn't believe it only cost $20! You can always catch a sale at Eloquii! I paired it with what I like to call "the basics". Having a simple black bag and patent heel can streamline your look and should be staples in your wardrobe. Seriously, this outfit is SUPER low maintenance and great for the workweek.

How do you make that dreaded Monday wardrobe work for you? Leave me your suggestions below!!!

Enjoy today!
