Valentine’s Day Outfits with Sleeves

I’ve included a few great ideas for dressing up this Valentine’s Day with sleeves down below. Comment which one is your favorite!

1. Opt for a T-Shirt Under Your Favorite Red or Pink Dress

Tie it together with a t-shirt underneath. Stick to a tighter shirt for a more casual look! You could even go for a sleeved bodysuit if you’re comfortable in one!

2. Tie in a Sweater with a Red or Pink Satin Skirt

For a more romantic look, choose a sweater/skirt combo. It's cozy, yet flirty and fun!

3. Go for a Sleeved Dress

Sleeves are boring, girlfriend!  Go for a nice sleeved dress to keep you comfortable and cozy this Valentine’s Day! From flowy to form fitting, I suggest finding  the dress that keeps you feeling the most comfortable and confident all night long!

4. Keep the Jacket On

If all else fails, just tie a cute jacket in with the look and just keep it on! There is no shame in that. Find yourself a super cute jacket and you won’t want to take it off anyway!

Styling Tip for Valentine’s Day Outfits

Have fun with your accessories to play up your personality. Find the right bag, earring, statement necklace, etc. that tells people, "I'm more than what meets the eye".

Now that we've got a couple of outfit choices for Valentines Day outfits with sleeves, here are a few great ideas for spending your Valentine’s Day:

1. Explore a Bookstore Together

Taking a stroll around the bookstore can be a truly intimate date night idea. You could each pick out a book for one another to read to make it extra romantic, or simply walk around the bookstore and list down books like you’d like to add to your TBR. I love this idea because it is a great way to get inside of one anothers minds and get to know each other on an even deeper level as you find what books interest them.

2. Have a Picnic  in the Park

This is such a classic and cute date night idea that’s affordable! You could splurge a bit and grab some picnic gear (this option works for low cost as the more you use it the less expensive it gets),or you could just stick tupperware from home into a backpack and have a lovely time sitting on a blanket in a park together! Pro Tip: Want to stay close to home? Have a picnic in your backyard!

3. Walking the City

This is the time for some hand holding, friends! Grab your partner's hand and stroll around the downtown area of your city, or one that you’ve wanted to explore. Maybe grab a coffee or ice cream for the walk from a new spot that you have yet to visit together.

4. Listen to Your Old Favorite Music Together

Talk about a way to connect! Even if you’ve been together forever like my husband and I have, it can be nice to sit down together and play one another your favorite songs from your childhood. You might just find that you two had similar tastes and can rock out together to some of your old favorites! Singing and reminiscing with your partner is always a lovely, low cost date night idea!

5. Head to the Museum

Most museums are either free or low cost, so choose one in your area that you have wanted to visit and go! Check out Facebook to see if there have been any local popup’s around you that might be of interest. I know that the pop up Van Gogh museum has been popping up all over the US for a while now. Might be worth checking out!
