Peplum +

Hello all! It's so good to be back writing again! Have you missed me? ;-) I missed YOU! I've been so busy with family that I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. This weather in Indy has been crazy too, so I haven't been out and about in my usual cute looks. Let's just be honest, when it's hailing in April, I'm wearing tunics and leggings with flats ALL DAY. Ok, now that we have established all of that, let's get down to talking about this easy weekday look that could put anyone in a good mood, hail or not!

I love keeping the bottom half of my look simple. It gives my top a front and center presence.

Whether it's lunch with the girls, or drinks with your main squeeze, this look is pretty effortless. What makes it so easy? Finding one piece with lots of drama, and keeping everything else neutral. This Lane Bryant peplum top allows me to do just that. This shirt is EVERYTHING! I saw it in the store and knew I had to have it. The peplum hem hits just right on my waist and flows away from my body creating a flattering silhouette. I loved the colors and pattern--it just screams Spring!

Now, you won't see me wear jeans very often, but when I do, they fit like this! I snagged these uber-comfortable jeans from Forever 21+ and I can't get enough of them! I mean, they seriously feel like pajamas.

These jeggings (jean-leggings) are great for my shape. Come back soon for my denim challenge post! :)

I chose a darker denim because I find it more slimming. Style Tip: choosing darker denim and a heel can make an outfit dressy.

How do you add a little flare to your daily look? Would you rock this peplum shirt?

Enjoy today! xoxo-Sierra
