Eat Your Heart Out: Breweries and Eateries in Fishers You Need to Know

The Latest in Breweries and Eateries in Fishers

This curvy girl loves food. That part isn't surprising. What most people don't know about me, is my love for beer! Yes, every since college, I've been a fan, and when I heard Fishers was adding a few breweries to the mix, I quickly added them to my list of places to check out. I love how much the city of Fishers is growing, and cannot wait to see The Yard when it's finished. Local loves; not sure what The Yard is? Read up and get ready.

Now open with their 3rd location in Fishers, Mashcraft Brewing has a little something for everybody. Dedicated to sponsoring and planting themselves in the community, this brewery is quite the addition for Fishers.

Listen, I've never been crazy for tater tots, but Mashcraft put a spin on them that I just can't resist. Marketed as a "kid-friendly" brewery and restaurant, they offer a kids menu, board games and a separate 21 and older section. They want families with young children to come out for a beer, and I was all here for it. I recently took my little crew in for dinner and we had a blast! It's such a cool atmosphere. Pro Tip: Wanting to try something different? Ask about their pepper beer, made with  Jalapeño peppers.

As a Indy native, it's impossible to not know about Sun King breweries. The Fishers location is a small batch brewery, offering a three barrel brewing system, but don't worry, that's still a lot, and the space is all age friendly, making it another great spot for families. The Cream Ale is a staple in our house, but they have a great selection for anyone's taste. One of the best features of this brewery is their event space. With 6,000 square feet, you can host private tours (minimum of 10 people, max 20), or rent the private space for 60 of your closest friends. So head over, order a small flight, and fall in love with this hot spot.

This brewery and restaurant asks the question "Why drink hungry?" Clearly, they are my kind of people. With an extensive menu and unbelievably gorgeous space, this brewery has a lot to offer. Just looking for the "brewery" experience? Head over to the other side of the building where you can taste what's on tap and mingle with friends right in view of the large tanks housing beer AMAZINGNESS. Pro Tip: Try the "Smoked Then Fried Wings" and the pulled chicken tacos. You can thank me later....with an invitation to join you for a beer...and more pulled chicken tacos. #nojudgement
