The Right to Bare Arms

Let's be honest.  There is quite the stigma around curvy gals showing their arms.  I mean, for some reason, it seems like some people wouldn't be able to survive the day if they have to look at curvy arms.  What's up with that? It's 90+ degrees outside and I see women in shawls and cardigans. If you want to wear that, more power to you, but it should never be because of what others may think of you. The Body Positive movement teaches us we are more than that. I think it's important for EVERY woman to feel comfortable in her own skin and be able to rock any frock without fear of criticism... and today, we the start the convo with this HOT halter dress I snagged at Soma Intimates!

It's super hot out,  don't wear a cardigan if you don't want to!  You are beautiful just the way you are!  Embrace your body!

I love the way this dress flatters the top half of my body and gives me a soft,  but sexy silhouette.  You can't tell me nothing honey! Soma is a great place to get amazing dresses...not just bras!  The material is like none other.  Check out your local Soma today!

Flowy fly-away hem makes for a flirty look.

The key to pulling off this look is letting the dress shine!  I kept all my accessories neutral to make the dress pop!

Neutral shoes keep the attention on the dress.

How do you start the discussion of feeling good in your own skin?  What criticism have you experienced in the past that you say "NO MORE" to?  Share your thoughts with me below!

Enjoy today!
